The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), established in 2015, are an urgent call for action by all countries. The 17 goals were drafted with the understanding that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve oceans and forests.
Entrepreneurship, as an economic empowerment tool and solution-oriented field, plays a significant role in advancing these goals. In this session, learn how entrepreneurs can be best supported as part of local SDG implementation strategies, and how entrepreneurs can optimize the opportunities presented by these shared global priorities.
